Description
This Chick Fil A kale salad recipe is a crunchy, flavorful copycat featuring grilled chicken, roasted almonds, and homemade apple cider vinaigrette.
Ingredients
2 cups curly kale, chopped
1½ cups green cabbage, shredded
1 cup cooked grilled chicken, sliced
¼ cup roasted almonds, chopped
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
⅓ cup olive oil
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 pinch garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Massage kale with olive oil and a pinch of salt for 1 minute.
2. Toss in shredded cabbage and set greens aside.
3. Whisk together apple cider vinegar, mustard, syrup, oil, and garlic powder to make dressing.
4. Grill chicken, slice thin, and let rest.
5. Add chicken and almonds to greens.
6. Pour dressing over salad, toss, and let sit for 10–15 minutes.
7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Store undressed salad up to 4–5 days.
Add toppings just before serving for best texture.
Swap in sunflower seeds or cranberries for variety.
