This crispy, juicy parmesan crusted chicken is a LongHorn Steakhouse favorite you can now make easily at home. With a cheesy golden topping and a simple buttery herb sauce, it’s comfort food done right.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sour cream

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Pound chicken to even thickness and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side.

3. Transfer to baking sheet. Mix cheeses, breadcrumbs, mayo, and seasoning in a bowl.

4. Spread mixture over each chicken breast.

5. Bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes until topping is golden and chicken is cooked through.

6. In a small pan, melt butter and whisk in sour cream and a pinch of garlic powder.

7. Drizzle sauce over baked chicken and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days.

Reheat in oven or air fryer for best crisp.

Freezes well for up to 2 months.
