Ingredients
12 ounces ziti pasta (cooked al dente)
2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
8 ounces full-fat cream cheese (softened)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. Cook ziti pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a saucepan, combine cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian herbs. Stir over medium heat until smooth.
4. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and cream sauce until evenly coated.
5. Pour into prepared baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
7. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting.
Substitute ziti with penne or rigatoni if preferred.
Add cooked spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
Cover with foil if top browns too quickly while baking.
