Description
This creamy garlic chicken pasta bowl combines juicy chicken, rich garlic, and a smooth cream sauce tossed with fettuccine for the ultimate comfort dinner.
Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb), sliced thin
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
6 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear seasoned chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
6. Add pasta and chicken back to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Add pasta water as needed.
7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add 2 tbsp of reserved pasta water.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest texture.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat gently with a splash of cream or broth.
