This Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken Pasta is the ultimate one-skillet comfort meal. Juicy seared chicken, fresh herbs, and a velvety garlic parmesan sauce all come together in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
2 cups heavy cream
½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
8 ounces fettuccine or linguine, cooked
Optional: ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic with herbs for 30 seconds.
4. Stir in cream, chicken broth, lemon juice, and parmesan. Simmer 4–5 minutes until smooth.
5. Return chicken and pasta to the pan. Toss to coat. Serve hot with extra herbs and parmesan.
Notes
Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
Use freshly grated parmesan for the creamiest texture.
Substitute with gluten-free pasta if needed.
