Oven-baked garlic butter chicken tenderloins that are juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or meal prep.
Ingredients
1½ pounds chicken tenderloins, fresh or thawed
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Optional: lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix melted butter, garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Add chicken tenderloins and coat well in garlic butter mixture.
4. Lay chicken on baking sheet in a single layer without overlap.
5. Bake for 20–22 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Broil 1–2 minutes if desired.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure accurate doneness.
Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
