Garlic Chicken Parmesan Ziti is a creamy, cheesy baked pasta dish loaded with shredded chicken, garlic, and a rich Parmesan sauce. A crowd-pleasing comfort food that’s ready in under an hour.
Ingredients
12 oz ziti pasta, cooked al dente and drained
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
4 tablespoons olive oil
6 garlic cloves, minced
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ cups heavy cream
1¼ cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Boil ziti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Stir in cream cheese until melted, then add heavy cream and 1 cup Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.
5. Add shredded chicken and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in cooked pasta until evenly coated.
6. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and top with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest 5–10 minutes.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, shred your cheese fresh, it melts more smoothly.
To reheat, add a splash of milk and cover loosely.
This dish is freezer-friendly before baking; thaw overnight and bake fresh when needed.
