1 ½ pounds chicken tenderloins, trimmed and tendon removed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

¾ teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (optional)

Zest of ½ lemon (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Pat chicken tenderloins dry with paper towels.

3. Place chicken in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.

4. Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.

5. Toss until evenly coated.

6. Arrange chicken on baking sheet in a single layer with space between.
