1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha sauce

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

4 medium naan or flatbreads

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 tablespoons sliced green onions


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and fully cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, sriracha, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.

3. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the honey garlic sauce.

4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and evenly distribute honey garlic chicken over each flatbread. Sprinkle mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheese on top.

5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese melts and edges turn golden. Remove from oven and garnish with parsley and green onions before serving.

Cut chicken into evenly sized pieces for consistent cooking.

Do not overcook garlic to avoid bitterness.

For a milder version, reduce sriracha and red pepper flakes.
