Ingredients
1 pizza dough (store bought or homemade)
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
1. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to an even thickness and place it on a baking tray or pizza stone.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add minced garlic, and cook briefly until fragrant. Add flour and stir for about one minute.
3. Slowly pour in milk while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
4. Add salt, black pepper, and oregano, then mix until the sauce is smooth and evenly seasoned.
5. Spread the white sauce over the dough, leaving a small border. Add chicken evenly, then sprinkle mozzarella and grated cheese across the top.
6. Bake at 425°F for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted with slight browning.
7. Let the pizza rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
