Description
Garlic parmesan chicken skewers made with juicy chicken pieces, fresh garlic, and a light parmesan coating. Cooked until golden and finished with herbs for a simple and flavorful dish.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite sized cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Cut chicken into evenly sized bite sized cubes to ensure consistent cooking.
2. Add chicken to a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and oregano, then mix until evenly coated.
3. Let the chicken sit for about 10 minutes so the garlic begins to settle into the surface.
4. Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving small gaps between pieces for proper heat circulation.
5. Cook on a grill or pan over medium heat, turning every few minutes until chicken is cooked through and lightly golden.
6. Once nearly done, sprinkle or roll skewers in grated parmesan so it coats the surface without burning.
7. Remove from heat, let rest briefly, then sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Keep chicken pieces uniform for even cooking.
Add parmesan at the end to prevent burning.
Leave space between pieces on skewers for better heat circulation.
