Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup peach preserves
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp chili flakes
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp ginger
salt and pepper
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a skillet and cook chicken pieces over medium heat until lightly browned and nearly cooked through
2. Mix peach preserves, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes until smooth
3. Pour sauce into the pan and reduce heat slightly, stirring to coat chicken evenly
4. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until glaze thickens and sticks to the chicken
5. Stir occasionally to prevent burning and ensure even coating
6. Remove from heat once chicken is fully coated and glaze reaches desired consistency
7. Let rest briefly before serving to allow the glaze to settle
Notes
Lower heat when adding glaze to prevent burning due to sugar content
Allow the glaze to reduce naturally for best texture instead of adding thickeners
Reheat gently with a splash of liquid to restore the glaze consistency
Use evenly sized chicken pieces for consistent cooking and better coating
